[av_dropcap1]D[/av_dropcap1]as Internet Governance Forum Austria (IGF Austria) versteht sich als offene Diskussionsplattform für VertreterInnen öffentlicher Stellen, der Wirtschaft und Industrie, der Zivilgesellschaft sowie der technischen und akademischen Communities zu allen relevanten Fragen im Zusammenhang mit der Verwaltung, weiteren Entwicklung des Internets und der Digitalisierung. Das IGF Austria ist – so wie das globale IGF der Vereinten Nationen und sein europäisches Ebenbild, das EuroDIG – den Prinzipien der Offenheit, des Dialogs und der Transparenz verpflichtet.

Die Themen und Inhalte der Arbeit des IGF Austria orientieren sich an den Themen des globalen IGF und den diversen Interessenslagen der in Österreich aktiven Anbieter und Nutzer von Internetdiensten.
